Education & Professional Development

Whether it's professional development or enhancing knowledge and skills on certain mental health related topics we can find the right fit and style for your needs.

I worked for years in mental health education, especially suicide prevention and I am very passionate about educating people on mental health. Knowledge is power and understanding can lead to better personal coping skills, more empathy for others, and a reduction in stigma. Mental Health is a community effort.

After working in suicide prevention & education I have seen the power of sharing knowledge, understanding and hope about topics that are stigmatized. With mental health education we can support ourselves and those in our lives in an empathetic, hopeful, empowering way!

I want to acknowledge I practice on Treaty 6 and Treaty 7 territory, the traditional lands of the Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Dene, Nakota Sioux and the Siksika, Piikani, Kainai, Tsuut'ina, Nation and Stoney Nakota First Nations, respectively. I want to acknowldege the many First Nations and Métis who took care of this land, and as I live, work, and support healing in this community I hope to also support healing and reconciliation by honouring this land, respecting it, and the many traditions of indigenous people.
